LAYERING

Hello Lovelies,
I love layering because I think it's a good way to express yourself. Different people are going to combine together different colors and different textures in order to achieve their perfect final look. Layering also allows to tone down clothes that would be otherwise worn only for special occasions.

[Wearing]: Shoedazzle tan heels (similar here) |Victoria Secret black pantyhose (similar here) | H&M white feather skirt (last seen here) | H&M black and white polka dot peplum top (Similar here)| H&M coral sweater (similar here) | Denim shirt (very old! last seen here) | H&M blue blazer (similar here) | Accessories: Gap Scarf (Old!), H&M jewelery, Charlotte Russe, Forever21 faux croco snap frame shoulder bag (last seen here)

By adding a sweater to the look I was trying to tone down the white feather skirt and the polka dot peplum top in order to [kind of] achieve a casual look. Of course, the skirt can be even further tone down if you ditch the blazer and perhaps the heels (ha!).

Thank you for reading and I wish you a happy Thursday!

Style Change: Kristen Stewart (Breaking Dawn-Twilight Saga Movies)

Hello Lovelies,
We've all noticed a change in Kristen Stewart wardrobe and style since the release of Breaking part I. This rocker girl seems like she has completely ditched the sneakers to start a new strong relation with heels and sheer things!

Left: Kristen Stewart in Zuhair Murad for the L.A. premiere | Right: She is in Ellie Saab for the Berlin premiere

Left: Kristen Stewart wearing Louis Vuitton for the Tokyo promo of the movie | Right: She's wearing LBD for the late night show with Jimmy Fallon

Here she is with the boys:

Ending of Fall

Hello Lovelies,
Sunday used to be my favorite day of the week. Probably because that was the only day we could spend the whole day with everybody in my family, my father included, who's a doctor, without worrying about our other meetings, friends. Or probably because I would sleep in for long than usually. For whatever reason it was back then, my love of Sundays has changed since then. When I got into college, Sundays became the days I would remember that I actually have a 10-15page paper due in 48hours (ha!).

[Wearing]: Burlington brown wedge sneakers (similar here) | H&M tan skinny jeans (similar here) | H&M deep teal cable knit sweater (similar here) | Grey leather military jacket (Very old! but similar here) | Mustard yellow embossed leather satchel (similar here) | Indian red scarf (very old!) | Jewelry: H&M.

Yesterday, on Sunday, I decided to put on my fall colors and go for a walk in the park. The temperature was perfect, not too cold and not too dry!
I have to mention that I really love these sneakers, they don't even feel like they have a [higher than normal] heel. It almost feel like they are flat shoes. Then they are very warm and cozy because of all the pads that are inside. To top all that, they look amazing with almost any outfit you have in mind, just give it a try. Thus, I have nothing to complain about these shoes so far and I'm thinking of getting myself some more in tan and black!

Thank you so much for reading my post :)
Have a lovely day, Xx!!

Fall Trend: burgundy by bloggers

Hello Lovelies,
There's no doubt that burgundy has been the 'IT' color of Fall 2012 season. From outfits on the runways to celebrities off-duty, the world of fashion has showed us that burgundy is here and perhaps it's here to stay.

Fashion bloggers, from all over the world, seem to have embraced burgundy with a joyful heart. From pop of burgundy to full outfit of burgundy, female fashion bloggers are making a big statement: they love burgundy and they are willing to show it!

In the men fashion world, it seems that only hints of burgundy are being dropped. Perhaps, men prefer to play the safe card and to stay away from full outfits in burgundy.

I was finally able to pack everything in my small bag and now I'm off to NYC.

Fresh like Mustard

Hello Lovelies,
Yellow is a wonderful color and one of my favorites. When it comes to mustard yellow, my mind goes "Ouh La La" (ha!).  To me, it's somehow refreshing and it's a way of differentiating yourself from a big crowd of people wearing black, navy, or brown, when the temperatures drop.

[Wearing]: Charlotte russe sueded pointy toe tan flats (here) | Kohl's light purple crop jeans (similar here) | Forever21 brown & black polka dot shirt (last seen here) | H&M yellow mustard cropped sweater (similar here) | H&M mustard yellow oversized cardigan (similar here) | Accessories: 80's purple sunglasses, H&M, Charlotte Russe, Bijoux Terner peach scarf (old!)| Bijoux Terner Leopard print scarf (old!)

Putting on two scarves is a good way to keep yourself warm and to mix different colors together in order to get the perfect colors that would make your outfit complete. As a side note, I really love the scarves I'm wearing but I bought them when I was in transit in Paris (I think so) and so it might be difficult to find the exact ones. They are from the brand Bijoux Terner, which strictly offered jewelry when it was first launched. It was love at first sight when I saw these two scarves on a rack in the airport!

Thank you for reading my post!
Have a lovely day and happy Monday :)
