Hello Lovelies,

Denim overalls are just so awesome, especially for the summer. There are so many ways someone can style them up but these looks were my favorites. I really loved the neon pops in the black and white outfit and the Gold touch in the fourth look!

What do you think about Denim overalls for the summer? Yay or Nay?

Thanks for reading and have a Lovely day!

Inspiration: Rihanna visits Chanel Apartment and get Rihanna's Look for less

"The best things in life are free. The second best are very expensive." - Coco Chanel.

Rihanna was recently spotted in Paris while heading to Chanel. While at Chanel, she got an exclusive tour of Coco Chanel's apartment and her instagram followers (including me) did too. Although, the apartment was beyond beautiful, what caught my attention was her all-white outfit with gold accents.

 Get her look for less:

Trends seen on the red carpet of the Golden Globe Awards 2013

Hello Lovelies,
As we all know, last night was the Golden Globe Awards and the ladies were all gorgeous and glamorous in their dresses. Trends were observed

1. Floor-length dresses
It seems like these Hollywood ladies were into long, floor-length dresses

Left to Right: Jessica Alba is wearing Oscar de la Renta's silk faille trumpet gown from the PF13 collection (Alba completed her look with a $5.8 million Harry Winston diamond necklace, in addition to diamond earrings and a cocktail ring all set in platinum) | Emily blunt is wearing a Michael Kors dress | Lucy Liu is wearing a floral Carolina Herrera strapless gown | Jennifer Lawrence is wearing a coral Dior Haute Couture dress.
2. All Black or All white dresses
Many of the ladies did also go for an all black gown or an all white and they looked absolutely gorgeous in them.

Here are the ladies in white:
Left to Right: Anne Hathaway is wearing a Chanel's beaded strapless dress from the SS09 haute couture collection | Amanda Seyfried donned a custom Givency dress | Lea Michele wore an Elie Saab embellished halter gown with a high slit detail from the SS12 ready-to-wear collection | Hayden Panettiere looked glamorous in a Roberto Cavalli gown.

Here are the ladies in black:
Left to Right: Nicole Kidman wore an Alexander McQueen gown | Salma Hayek was wearing Gucci and she looked magnificent | Kate Hudson wore an Alexander McQueen gown with decorative glitzy-gold accents and a sexy keyhole cutout | Sofia Vergara wore a Michael Cinco dress.

And here are some more of the ladies who wore black dresses but went for a more daring look with plunging necks and leg splits, I mean they were extra gorgeous and they were among the best dressed of the the night:
Left to Right: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was gorgeous in her Yves Saint Laurent dress and Dana Rebecca and Norman Silverman jewelry | Katharine McPhee was extra gorgeous in a plunging Theyskens' Theory dress | Eva Longoria was extra stunning in an Emilio Pucci gown | Louise Roe, The Fashion Star host picked a lacy black dress and Jacqueline Nerguizian Fine Jewelry.

 3. Beaded and sparkling lace dresses
I think in this category, Keri Washington was the best dressed because it's just different. She wants to go with the trend of length-knee dress but then again she wants to add a personal touch to the outfit!

Left to Right: Keri Washington rocked a Miu Miu dress | Helen Hunt rocked a Dolce & Gabbana tulle and beaded column gown with rose satin underlay | Jennifer Lopez is rocking a Zuhair Murad's long-sleeve silk gown featuring an ivory embroidered lace overlay with beading detail from the SS13 ready-to-wear collection | Julianne Hough looked awesome in a white tulle and gold embroidered Monique Lhuillier gown.

Here are some other of our favorite Hollywood ladies who were rocking magnificent long gowns:

Top Left to Right: Halle Berry looked so sexy ang gorgeous in the Atelier Versace's one-shoulder blush and fuchsia printed gown from the F12 collection | Julia Louis Dreyfus lady is wearing a custom Vera Wang gown featuring a sweetheart neckline and hand appliqued floral chantilly lace with a gathered silk tulle overlay | Nicole Richie wearing a Naeem Khan gown | Jessica Chastain wore a daring Calvin Klein Collection seafoam silk crepe halter dress and $3 million worth of Harry Winston diamonds         Bottom Left to Right: Shaun Robinson The Access looked picture perfect wearing a strapless emerald green pleated chiffon and beaded Pamella Roland evening gown | Heidi Klum screamed sex appeal in an Alexandre Vauthier Couture gown and Christian Louboutin heels | Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory) wore a Zuhair Murad's tulle gown featuring hand-embroidered floral lace detail | Sarah Paulson wore a black sleeveless v-neck gown with diamond and cascading tulle detail from Reem Acra's F12 collection.

Here are the ladies who seemed not to have gotten the memo about the dress code (ha!), nonetheless they looked nice:

Left to Right: Amy Poehler seems not to have gotten the a memo letting her that it was Long Gown Night Out on the carpet but she still looked great in this Stella McCartney suit and Charlotte Olympia heels | Marion Cotillard wore a custom orange velvet Christian Dior Haute Couture dress | Tina Fey The evening's co-host beamed wearing L'Wren Scott's custom cream silk and black chantilly lace embroidered dress

So which one was your best dressed?                                                                                    Origin of the photos: US Weekly

Fall Trend: burgundy by bloggers

Hello Lovelies,
There's no doubt that burgundy has been the 'IT' color of Fall 2012 season. From outfits on the runways to celebrities off-duty, the world of fashion has showed us that burgundy is here and perhaps it's here to stay.

Fashion bloggers, from all over the world, seem to have embraced burgundy with a joyful heart. From pop of burgundy to full outfit of burgundy, female fashion bloggers are making a big statement: they love burgundy and they are willing to show it!

In the men fashion world, it seems that only hints of burgundy are being dropped. Perhaps, men prefer to play the safe card and to stay away from full outfits in burgundy.

Happy Sunday and thank you for reading :)

INSPIRATION: Jourdan Dunn

Hello Lovelies,
I have noticed that I don't have a post for any topic in the "inspiration" tab that I have on my blog and that is sad because everyday I discover new bloggers and I get inspired by so many models, bloggers, photos. So in this post, I am going to introduce one of the models that I love and follow a lot: Jourdan Dunn.

Jourdan Dunn was born and grew up in London but started her runway debut in New York shows in fall 2007, walking for Marc Jacobs among other big designers, after she was discovered in 2006 while shopping in Primark with a friend (NYMag). She gained attention as she was among the few black models that are in the fashion modelling industry (wiki). In 2007, she was featured on the British Vogue as a "new star" (click here for the story) and as one of the top 10 newcomers in "style.com" in 2008. In 2008, she was the first black model to walk a Prada runway over a period of 10 years (teenvogue).

I could go on and on about her biography but it can easily be found on wikipedia, and other web sources so instead I'm going to show you the photos and I'm sure you will fall in love with her too and her pretty smile (ha!).

INSPIRATION: Gabby Douglas

Hello Lovelies,
If you have been watching the Olympics games (Gymnastics), you sure have already fallen in love with the girl of a million dollar smile: Gabrielle Christina Victoria Douglas aka Gabby Douglas.

This morning (08/03/2012), Gabby Douglas, who is a young girl (16 years old) from Virginia Beach (VA), became the first African-American woman and first woman of color to win the gold medal in Gymnastics at the Olympic Game!

She started training at the age of six after her older sister convinced their mother to let Gabby enroll into the school's gymnastics classes and since then she's been training hard and today the hard work has paid off. Congratulations Gabrielle!

Her last performance was accompanied by the song "We No Speak Americano" and the 'Flying squirrel' aka Gabby was absolutely perfect and flawless in her routine.

Inspiration: Pretty Little Liars

Hello Lovelies,
Who watched the Pretty Little Liars (Season 3 episode 8: Stolen Kisses) on ABC Family on Tuesday night (7/8pm)???

(I'm not going to completely spoil it for you if you haven't watched it yet, ha!)

The episode was a FASHION Show and a PREVIEW of Fall fashion 2013, seriously! All the pretty little liars, with their own style, managed to look fab in all the must-haves for Fall, especially Hanna in my opinion, who wore a beautiful red vest, then a black and white top over a maxi skirt that looked mustard yellow to me but my friends argued with me that it was lime! Then, this mysterious new character (in the last picture) only appeared twice during the show but both times, she was owning the 'f' show with her royal blue attire that she paired with a brown scarf and with her low shoulder dress, which is by the way a trend on the rise.

Dress: Betsey Johnson | Belt: BCBGMAXAZRIA

Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale) was owning the fashion show: she looked super chic in all her outfits so she got the Oscar of the 'best dressed' in my heart.

Jeans: Andrew Charles | Shoes: Sheik | Belt: BCBG Max Azria | Shirt: Pins And Needles from the Show stylists Laura Schuffman and Saba Salehi

'Lydia' dress by Rachel Zoe | Belt: Nordstorm

Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson) was nominated for the 'best dressed' but came Second although she pulled off perfectly the red vest over the printed multi colored (tribal) bustier and also pulled off the black and white top that she paired with a MUSTARD yellow skirt.

Top Bustier: Urban Outfitters | Skirt: Zara

Tank: Vintage Havana | Skirt: TOPSHOP | Boots: Guess | Tights: American Apparel | Cardigan: Emporio Armani | Earrings: Elie Tahari

Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario) also managed to pull off some good outfits. I really liked the outfit below the most, although it's not really my style, and the handbag, ouh la la!

Parrot shirt with diamante on the collar: Zara

Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell) was the only one who was not participating in the Fashion Show in my opinion but I understand. She's still having trouble remembering what happened 'that' night after her short memory loss (I promised, I'm not going to spoil it for you!) and she's having trouble with the fact that someone drugged her that night.

The appearance of this new character into the show just captivated me so much and had me falling head over 4-inches heels: Fitz's mom, Dianne Fitzgerald (Mary Page Keller).

She might not have "any generous bone in her body" like her son Fitz said but she sure has a whole exoskeleton of fashion taste!

Which outfit is your favorite and what do you think about what's going to happen after this episode?

Lots of Love,
Xoxo Lovelies
