A little Outfit post to celebrate this rainy Spring day

Hello Lovelies,

So what to wear on a rainy day? Is the question we all ask ourselves when we look through the window and see a gloomy sky, dirt everywhere, and some leaves flying in the air due to some kind of wind.

So what to wear on a rainy day? Is also the question we all ask ourselves when our set of mind is already in the Summer but sadly the world/weather has not gotten the memo that it is time to make place for the Sun to bless our days.

So what to wear on a rainy day?

On those days, I wear a turtleneck/mockneck, a short skirt, and warm boots! I mean what else can I wear other than that?

 I usually wear black that I pair with a very colorful item, either a pink skirt or a yellow bennie hat. Remember this look (👇🏾) from two years ago?

Me and my friends went for a brunch yesterday so I decided to wear my H&M dress for the occasion. It is so comfortable and the loose fit makes it perfect for a warm day of Summer. And of course, I could not pass on the chance to wear my new babies, the Alexander Wang sandals.

Ever wondered what to wear on those cloudy and chilly Summer days? Living Upstate NY, means you need to figure out pretty quickly what to wear on a cold Summer day. Although our Summer is pretty much one month, the month of July, the rest of the Summer, it rains six days a week. But this doesn't stop us from enjoying our Summer and playing around with our wardrobe. On those days, I tend to wear all black (or all white) and I incorporate one colorful item. In this outfit, I decided to wear my new Alexander Wang gladiator sandals that my Mom bought for me as a gift (after hearing a lot about them, she decided to get rid of me by buying them and she snagged them for almost half the price as it was the last pair left!).

Hello Lovelies,
I've been in love with every item of my outfit, from the H&M sandals to my all time favorite hat. Somehow, I was able to pair all these items together for my dinner date.

Although the skirt looks orange when it's photographed in direct sun, the skirt is actually neon pink. I know it's a shame that it changes color in photos but I like the orange look too.

I've been having a big crush on a shoe, the Aline high T-strap sandal by Alexander Wang Spring/Summer 2013 collection ($695.00 at Shopbop). 

Even celebrities have fallen in love with the sandals, from Rihanna, who was the first to be spotted wearing Alexander Wang from head-to-toe at her performance at the X factor, to many other models and fashion icons.

DIY Two-piece ensemble from an old jumpsuit

You want to know what to do with an old strapless jumpsuit?

Hello Lovelies,
I've been seeing ensembles of two-pieces everywhere lately. I've had this blue light strapless jumpsuit for 3 years now, and I never wore it before, so I decided to turn it into shorts. Since I had leftover of the top, I decided to use it to make a faux-pocket by measuring where I wanted the pocket to be. Then I cut a piece from the clothe that I glued (E6000) to the t-shirt. I put a small cardboard inside the t-shirt behind the pocket so the glue wouldn't stick the front of the t-shirt to the back of the t-shirt. I put two heavy books on top of the pocket and left them on there for two hours. Et Voilà! You have a two-piece ensemble, perfect for the Summer.
